Google Photography Prize Winner Declared

It's been nearly seven weeks since we prototypal awninged the Google Photography Prize contest, and today a winner's been declared.  A commission of artists and art critics designated the iGoogle theme created by justice Halasz.

You crapper see his impact below.  Over 3,600 students entered the contest, so winning counts as quite an accomplishment.  What's more, Halasz, who attends the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design in Budapest, Hungary, should acquire a $7,500 honor in addition to a significance of pride.

As for how the preceding ammo of the rivalry formed up (Google didn't attain some announcements between asking for votes and announcing a winner), a post on the Official Google Blog reports, "The sextet finalists who got the most open votes were Amelia Ortzar (Chile), Fahad AlDaajani (Saudi Arabia), Matjaz Tancic (U.K.), Mikhail Simin (U.S.) and Vesna Stojakovic (Serbia) - commendation to every of them!"

And the commission "also gave a primary commendation prize to Aliyah Hussain from the U.K."
